14 South Artists will hold its 2nd annual Spring Art Show at the Fitchburg Community Center, 5520 Lacy Rd, Fitchburg, Wi. on Sat April 25 and Sun April 26 2009.
This year’s event has been extended to 2 days due to the tremendous success of the show in 2008. The scheduled hours will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Sat and 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM on Sun.
The Sunday show will be held in conjunction with the Fitchburg Senior Center’s Annual Pancake Breakfast which takes place in the lower level of the Community Center from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
22 highly skilled artisans from the 14 South Artrists Alliance will display a wide variety of quality fine art during the 2 day show. Categories include painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, glass art, woodworking, fiber arts, etc.
The artists reside mainly in the suburbs and small towns south of Madison along Hwy 14. This is a wonderful oppurtunity for Madisonians to support local artists in a convenient nearby location. Roadside arrows will point the way to the Fitchburg Community Center near the intersection of South Fish Hatchery Rd and Lacy Rd.
