I’ve been involved in Fine Arts most of my life. The watercolor painting I did early in life imbued me with a keen love of art. Growing up in an antique dealing family further sharpened my appreciation; and set my feet on the path of attending auctions, galleries, and exhibitions. This ‘fed my soul so to speak’, during my years of professional pursuit. Moving to a rural setting in retirement has put me in touch with that first love, watercolor.

Reconnecting with the pleasure of painting and the fellowship of artists makes me happy. I’m a student of Mary Ann Inman, a member of WRAA, Creative Spirits, 14 South Artists, and the NAC.

What I enjoy about watercolor, is the intermingling of wet on wet and glazing techniques. Capturing impressions of the world I see them.
