2010
I am interested in fabricating jewelry that creates a lasting impression, the style uncluttered and understated. I enjoy creating elegant beaded pieces paired with hand-made sterling pendants and textured metal work. I work in many metal smithing techniques including: forging, soldering, sweat soldering, imprinting, reticulation, etching, casting, patination, fusing, wire wrapping and Keum-boo. These techniques will produce one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. I enjoy finding new ideas from exploration and experimentation of these techniques to create fun and inviting textures, while pairing them with interesting free-form, semi-precious gemstones.

Biography
I am a Madison native and since an early age have loved drawing. Jewelry (along with shoes/handbags) have always been an obsession. Jewelry fabrication became a reality when I first enrolled in Midnight Moon in Sept. 2001. I have learned and explored glass fusing and bead making, PMC, several beading techniques, and metal smithing at MATC. When the jewelry inventory began to overflow into all parts of the house, it was time to look into ways of selling it. I sell primarily through shows and consignment. I live and raise my kids in McFarland along with hubby, Cocoa and PeeWee (guinee pig).
